IX Crypto Summit 2026 Brings Regulators and Industry Leaders

On October 28–29, IX Crypto Summit 2026 took place at MTS Live Hall in Moscow, bringing together representatives of government agencies, the financial sector, crypto businesses, and blockchain companies.

Over the two days, the event welcomed more than 8,200 attendees. Another 2,350 people tuned in via the livestream to follow presentations and discussions remotely. Viewers joined from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.

Throughout the event, 140 industry leaders across two stages discussed digital asset regulation, the development of crypto market infrastructure, mining, investment, and cross-border payments. The discussions focused on practical business challenges and establishing clear rules for market participants.

One of the summit's key highlights was the direct dialogue between businesses and government officials. The conference program featured representatives from the Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Federation Council, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask government representatives questions directly from the audience and discuss how new regulatory approaches would be implemented in practice.

Discussions and media interviews covered the conditions for operating legally in the crypto market, infrastructure requirements, how financial institutions are adapting to new regulations, investor access, and customer protection. Particular attention was also given to market transparency and operating under external restrictions. These topics were covered by PRIME, TASS, and Interfax.

Statements made by summit speakers also attracted widespread attention from major Russian business media. RBC, TASS, Interfax, Vedomosti, PRIME, RIA Novosti, Kommersant, and other leading national media outlets published reports following the presentations.

In the exhibition area, crypto industry companies showcased their products, equipment, and services. Visitors explored business solutions, connected with project teams, and discussed potential partnerships.

The second day concluded with the Millennium-themed Crypto Summit Afterparty at VK GIPSY, featuring Dino MC 47 as the headline performer.

Work on the initiatives presented at the summit will continue beyond the event. Proposals will be submitted for expert review to working groups organized by the Crypto Industry Development Institute. Following this review, promising initiatives will be forwarded to the relevant government authorities.
